A collaborative effort to spread joy through pet portraits and help rescue animals find forever homes through art exposure. 

Art While Apart is a volunteer initiative with over 150 artist team members. I am one of those artists, creating digital art of people's pets to spread happiness and of rescue animals to help them get adopted. Beginning near the start of the pandemic, the mission began as a way to spread some extra happiness during the tough times of lockdown and social distancing. Since then, the mission has been the same: to spread happiness, but it has also grown to help rescue animals as well. Partnering with five rescues, Art While Apart has expanded to help those animals in need gain exposure through artwork in order to help find a loving home that they deserve. 

The art pieces pictured are just a few of my artworks over the past two years of being a part of this collaborative artist group. I have created digital paintings for rescue animals as well as pets.
